Welcome to my blog, and thank you for taking a step into my weird and wonderful world. I’m a self-confessed introvert, but an extremely sensitive and deep thinker – perhaps I should say I’m an over-thinker! As I approach my mid-30’s, I wanted to start sharing some words, feelings and experiences that I’ve been holding onto, some for a long time.
We, as humans, juggle so much in our lives. Relationships, work, family issues, love, loss, health problems and a whole load more. All of these things take up space in our minds and hearts, as we’re expected to put on a brave face and get on with each day. Sometimes, you just need a release, and if you’re not much of a talker, it’s hard to clear the fog in your brain and move on. That’s why I decided to create this blog for myself – almost as an act of self-care.
I hope these open letters will be of use to you too. Whether you can relate to them, or they make you giggle, I hope they inspire you to write your own letters, or have conversations you would never have initiated before. Remember, these letters are just me trying to find closure and make sense of what’s going on in my head. I’d encourage you to do the same.
